Zenviron is a joint venture between Monadelphous and ZEM Energy and is a market leading engineering, procurement and construction services contractor, specialising in the design and construction of large-scale renewable energy projects in Australia.

Following the continued growth and success of the business, we have a permanent position available for an experienced **Civil Team Leader** to join Zenviron and lead the civil team within the Engineering group based in the Newcastle Office. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for providing quality, safe, and commercially effective engineering designs for project delivery.

If you are an experienced Senior Civil Engineer skilled in the delivery of large-scale **bulk earthworks designs **who wants to be a part of key growth across the renewables sector, come and join the inclusive and high performing Zenviron team.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Delivering the design of renewable infrastructure projects including the engineering of
- Site investigations
- Public road infrastructure
- Bulk earthworks, including pavements and drainage
- Wind turbine foundations
- HV Substation and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) civil / structural
- Understanding your WHS responsibilities and actively promoting and supporting the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others.
- Providing technical leadership and support to other members of the Engineering team and project teams.
- Ensuring all designs/documentation meet the relevant standards.
- Co-ordinating with design consultants and service subcontractors as necessary.
- Providing engineering support to project civil works including engineering investigations, site inspections, solving problems and making recommendations.

**What we are looking for**:

- Australian recognised Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status with Engineers Australia (or be eligible to obtain on commencement)
- State-based Professional Engineer registration (or be eligible to obtain on commencement)
- Proven experience in the delivery of large-scale civil bulk earthworks projects
- Working knowledge of 12D (highly regarded) and AutoCAD design software
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail in the delivery of effective and high quality designs
- Strong ability to lead and mentor engineers to develop capabilities
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
- Proof of right to work in Australia
