**Description**:
Peninsula Leisure operate the award-winning Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC), Frankston Skatepark and the Pines Forest Aquatic Centre, all in the Frankston area.

Opening in 2014, PARC continues to provide the local community with a wide range of Health & Fitness services including a state-of-the-art gym, extensive group exercise timetable, warm water pool, lap swimming, learn to swim pool, aquatic playground, and water slides.

Frankston Skate Park is home to some of the state’s best skate and BMX terrain. The park offers 3,400 square meters of terrain, for varying skills and ages, and provides services and access for all things skateboarding, BMX riding, rollerblading and scooter riding.

The Pines Forest Aquatic Centre is a seasonal outdoor facility open between November-March each year. With an outdoor 50m pool, toddlers pool, giant water slide, and plenty of landscaped grass and shaded areas, it really is a hidden gem for families and outdoor enthusiasts.

**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a team-oriented, positive, motivated, and energetic Early Childhood Educator to join our Peninsula Leisure family in a Fixed-Term Part time capacity (11.25hrs per week). The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of the PARC Childcare programs.

To achieve this, the Early Childhood Educator will ensure the delivery of quality care supervision of children services which are safe and professionally delivered in accordance with PARC program requirements and Victorian regulations.

**The hours of this role are**:
3 days a week (flexible, Tuesday - Friday)
8:45am - 12:30pm

**A day in the life of our Early Childhood Educator includes**:
Providing quality supervision for and support of children attending the Childcare (aged 6 up to and including 9 years of age), in line with legislative requirements
Contribute to the delivery of stimulating early childhood educational programs linking to the appropriate frameworks
Assisting with planning exciting and age-appropriate activities
Providing input into weekly observations
Ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for children
Setting up and packing down of the room each day
Contribute to the overall team performance and continuing improvement
Promoting other activities offered at the Centre

**Minimum Qualifications**:
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care / Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care /Bachelor of education (Early childhood teaching).
HLTAID012 - Current First Aid Certificate
Asthma Management
Anaphylaxis
Current CPR Certificate
Current Working with Children’s Check (Employee)
