Our Darby Street salon has proudly been open for 19 years, while our Merewether salon has been thriving for almost 5 years. Together, our salons continue to grow and expand, with a busy client base, servicing over 200 clients a week between both locations and a reputation for excellence.

We are home to a passionate team of stylists, some who have been with us since the very beginning, alongside our amazing colourists who love doing creative haircuts, and our awesome emerging stylists eager to make their mark in the industry and who believe in TEAMWORK. Both of our salons are in prime lifestyle areas, filled with natural light and a welcoming, modern atmosphere, Darby Street being recently renovated

As part of Nesbitt, you'll also have direct access to a Salon Coordinator who ensures day-to-day operations run smoothly, assisting you with your appointment column, welcoming your clients and doing point of sale with rebooking assuring your appointment column is always full so you can focus on what you do best

We work exclusively with ammonia-free colour and offer a wide range of certified organic professional haircare, ensuring both our team and clients work in a healthy, chemical-conscious environment.

It's not often that a senior position becomes available at Nesbitt. With one of our much-loved team members relocating, we now have an exciting opportunity for:

• A Full-Time Stylist (38 hours across 4 days), or a Part-Time Stylist opportunity across 5 days.
• A confident and capable 3rd Year Apprentice who is ready to step into a busy role, confident enough to begin taking on a colour clientele while continuing to grow their skills with the support of our education program.

Since NESBITT is only open Monday–Friday, that means no weekend work. You'll still enjoy the benefits of Saturday penalty rates, which are applied to your weekday hourly rate. From your very first day, you'll be rostered with zero weekends required.

We're looking for:

• A confident and professional stylist with 5+ years of experience, OR an ambitious stylist with fewer years but strong skills and a passion to grow.
• A motivated and confident 3rd year apprentice who can start building and servicing their own clientele.
• Stylists who are motivated to expand their clientele and refine their craft.

• Weekly 2-hour in-salon training sessions during work hours (not after-hours) tailored to your needs.
• Hands-on training with live models.
