**YOUR CONTRIBUTION**
The Refugee Employment Support Program (RESP) Team Leader is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership to a region for the RESP program, overseeing a team of RESP Employment Facilitators, ensuring job seekers’ needs and expectations are being met in line with customer experience standards and contractual obligations under RESP, as well as liaising regularly with key stakeholders, employers, government departments, and managing and maintaining community relationships.
The RESP Team Leader will lead a team of RESP Employment Facilitators who work directly with refugee and asylum seeker clients to create and provide individualised employment pathway plans and employment support activities, while liaising regularly with the BDM to refer suitable clients to job vacancies and employment opportunities.
The RESP Team Leader may be expected to carry a small caseload and assist with post placement support activities to assist with workforce or region needs as and when required.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Lead the performance of the team against core KPIs and strategic goals, including number of clients engaging in each outcome area and attending sessions, number of clients progressing through each stage of their LEEP, and staff performance.
- Work with the RESP Program Manager to develop strategic plans and KPIs around these outcome areas.
- Work with RESP Program Manager to lead consistent service delivery improvements and improve the employment support we are providing for our clients.
- Lead quality improvements for the RESP workshops and sessions, improving content and delivery to ensure that we are providing a high level of value for our clients
- Manage the team to ensure that the vacancies available are a suitable match to the aspirations and skills of our clients, ensuring a suitable mix of lower and higher skilled roles.
- Report regularly to the RESP Program Manager on progress towards strategic goals and KPIs.
- Support the RESP Program Manager and wider employment team with other duties as required
**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience in the community services or similar sector
- Strong time management, organisation, and administration skills
- Previous leadership experience
- Strong experience working with training organisations or education providers.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building
- Experience working with CALD or refugee communities is desirable
