Environmental Consultant

ERM is currently recruiting for an experienced **Environmental Consultant **to join our Site Investigation and Risk Assessment team on a permanent contract, based in the ERM Macquarie Park office.

We are seeking an emerging professional to support the successful delivery of ERM projects and objectives by:

- Executing environmental assessments involving the collection of field data (soil, groundwater and air);
- Providing inputs into environmental reports;
- Supervise field work and subcontractors on site;
- Assist with the preparation of client proposals.

**Who you are**:

- Tertiary education in environmental science, geology or a related degree.
- Recent graduate with 18 to 24 months of experience in environmental consulting, including willingness/interest in field assignments.
- Enthusiastic and driven with the ability to be agile and innovative
- Strong commitment to safety; ability to follow established health and safety protocols.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Effective written and verbal communication; organizational and analytical skills; experience recording technical data and preparing reports.
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently.
- Ability to succeed in a consulting environment, simultaneously handling multiple project assignments and meeting strict deadlines.
- Dependable, with integrity, respect, positive outlook, and customer focus.
- Ability to work as a team player.
