**Your opportunity**

This hands-on role is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Woodwork Craftsman to share their skills and knowledge with a small team of employees living with disabilities. This role will coach and lead their team to develop skills to produce high-quality products and services for Aruma’s commercial customers. This is your chance to give back and play an integral part in changing the lives of our supported employees. You’ll be part of a dynamic and inclusive business enterprises team providing meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

**What this role looks like?**
- Coach and lead woodwork team, sharing knowledge to assist supported employees to develop skills to achieve their employment goals.
- Provide supervision and feedback to team members through performance management with the support of the Coordinator.
- Provide appropriate support to supported employees with a high level of empathy, sensitivity and confidentially.
- Work closely and provide assistance to the Coordinator as necessary.
- Display positive team behaviours that reflect the Aruma values, contributing to team results and outcomes.
- Commitment to safety whilst encouraging a culture of continuous improvement
- Supporting and developing our team day to day to manufacture a high quality product within required production timeframes

**About you**
- Demonstrate respect and empathy towards people with a disability with a passion to see them skilled for future employment opportunities.
- Experienced leader/supervisor with strong communication skills to coordinate a small team.
- Customer focused with commitment to delivering high quality products and services for Aruma’s commercial customers.
- Formal qualifications as a Boilermaker or relevant trade. Forklift licence or willingness to obtain.
- Demonstrated commitment to working in alignment with Aruma’s core values and Code of Conduct.
- A team player who is committed to working in a diverse and dynamic team
- Proven time management skills
