Executive Teacher

Majura Primary School is a large and growing P-6 school that operates as a Professional Learning Community (PLC). The school is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Executive Teacher to collaborate as part of our wider leadership team. The successful applicant will:
- Work as a member of the executive team to achieve whole-school strategic goals and implement the school annual action plan
- Collaborate with the executive team to lead the school as a Professional Learning Community (PLC) to improve student learning growth
- Coach and support teachers and other school leaders to develop pedagogical practices that support students’ individual needs
- Develop teacher capacity in leadership through supporting the implementation of whole school project teams
- Model, build and sustain respectful relationships with all groups in the school community.
**Eligibility/Other Requirements**:
Prior to commencing in this role a minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification; a current full teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) (or eligibility for teacher registration with the ACT TQI) and a current registration issued under the _Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011_ is required. **Notes**: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
