**Capra Coaching** is a warm, professional K-12 tutoring centre located in Mosman. We provide high-quality private and small group tuition (both in-person and online) to help students from Kindergarten to Year 12 thrive academically and grow in confidence.

We’re looking for a creative and self-motivated **Marketing & Communications Coordinator** to help us grow our visibility, refine our branding, and connect with families in our local community and beyond.

**About the Role**:
This is a flexible, part-time freelance role (approx. 5-10 hours per week) ideal for someone with experience across digital marketing, content creation, and campaign coordination. You'll be working directly with the owner to bring fresh energy to our brand and ensure our marketing is consistent, current, and effective.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Website & Content**
- Maintain and update our **WordPress website** (e.g. tutor profiles, blog posts, page edits)
- Oversee **tutor photography** and ensure bios/headshots are consistently uploaded
- Write **monthly blog posts** on relevant education and parent topics
- Ensure **website content is SEO-optimised** (titles, meta descriptions, internal links)
- Manage and schedule posts across **Instagram, Facebook**, and any other relevant platforms
- Capture **lesson action shots** (with permission) for social and promotional use
- Develop a simple **content calendar** to plan posts around school terms and campaigns

**Design & Collateral**
- Update existing marketing materials (e.g. brochures) via **Canva**:

- Coordinate **printing** and organise **local flyer/brochure distribution**:

- Create on-brand visuals for social media, blog thumbnails, and newsletters

**Marketing Strategy & Reporting**
- Suggest and help implement **local promotions or seasonal campaigns** (e.g. HSC prep, school holiday programs)
- Set up and manage basic **Facebook/Instagram ads** (optional but valued)
- Track performance of marketing efforts using **Google Analytics**, Meta insights, or similar tools

**Community Engagement & Brand Building**
- Maintain and optimise our **Google Business Profile**:

- Respond to Google or Facebook **reviews** and enquiries
- Identify opportunities for **community partnerships**, school outreach, or media exposure
- Optional: write simple **press releases** or articles for local media

**About You**:

- 2+ years experience in marketing, communications, or digital content roles
- Confident with **WordPress**, **Canva**, and **social media platforms**:

- Excellent writing and proofreading skills - warm, clear, and professional tone
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently

**Pay & Hours**:

- **$35-$50/hour** depending on experience
- **5-10 hours/week** to start, with potential to grow over time
- Flexible schedule - some tasks can be done remotely, though occasional in-centre time in Mosman is required
