Would you like to contribute to assisting older members of our community to remain in their homes and nurture their independence and quality of life?

If you do not speak Croatian that's fine its not a prerequisite, we do offer Croatian language classes for adults and can support you.

We have several Direct Care Workers positions available across all three regions (South East of Melbourne, North West of Melbourne and Geelong). All positions commence as casual that potentially can become permanent part time.

**Key Responsibilities**

Varied duties dependent on client requirements
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene and grooming
- Assisting clients with housekeeping or other daily errands
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Preparing food and feeding clients
- Transporting client to appointments and shopping
- Transporting clients to our Social Support Group
- Providing clients with respite care in their home

**Qualifications and essential skills**
- Its encouraged to hold a minimum of Certificate 3 in Aged Care or Certificate IV Individual Support; however its not a pre requisite
- Valid work rights in Australia
- Current and Clear National Police Check (within 3 years validity)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (or be prepared to obtain)
- A passion for client service and caring for elderly people

**Highly Desirable**
- 1-2 years of support work or personal care experience
- Australian driver's license
- Insured car (comprehensive)
- Current manual handling certification
- Able to speak Croatian or other European languages
