How would you like to make valued contributions to engineering / design outcomes on a project for one of the world’s largest mining organisations?

Calibre is supporting our client with endeavours to expand their mining operations. We’ll be providing recommendations for transportation of ore and requisite supporting infrastructure.

You'll get to develop designs for piping (layout and longitudinal sections), create process flow diagrams and identify appropriate instruments.

**Reporting to the Engineering Manager, we’ll also be asking you to**:

- Liaise daily with Project Managers, Designers, Engineers and clients.
- Ensure compliance with Calibre, industry and client standards.
- Manage your time to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Identify and report on potential deviations from agreed scope of works.

Our WA team continues to deliver design expertise for an array of mining and infrastructure projects. We’ve got substantial work in hand and a healthy pipeline to look forward to.

**Thrive with us We hope you'll bring**
- Advanced Diploma, Diploma or Associate Degree.
- Experience using MicroStation OR CAD software.
- Piping design experience gained on infrastructure or mining projects.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- A keen eye for detail, good time management and a knack for problem-solving.
- Current right to work in Australia.

If you have 2 - 5 years of design experience, this role would be a great opportunity to further develop your design capability. We have plenty of Seniors / Leads ready to provide support and teach you some new things.
