**About The Role**

Kareena Private Hospital is seeking for an experience and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our Patient catering team. In this role you will be working within a fast-paced team that thrives to deliver Patient oriented customer service.

Some of the duties and responsibilities of this role will including but are not limited to;
- Distribution/collection of customer menus, food trays, beverages as well as basic food preparation
- Cleaning and sanitising workstations and food court areas;
- Providing fast, friendly and exceptional customer service;
- Display a strong level of team commitment whilst also having the ability to work autonomously where required;
- As a casual Catering Assistant, you will be working across a 7-day rotating roster. Flexibility is crucial for this role._

**Your Skills and Experiences**

To succeed in this role you will be a positive and energetic team player.
- Experience in a similar food service such as a hotel or similar will be highly regarded, especially in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team and independently when required.
- Food trolley handling experience
- Knowledge of food service operations in the healthcare sector

Ideally you will also bring;
- Exceptional communication skills with a commitment to the provision of high-quality customer service.
- Food Safety/Handling qualifications.
- Proven ability to prioritise work tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be flexible in availability for all shifts.
- Possess a 'can-do' attitude towards customer service and problem solving.
- Be team orientated.
- Washing up after service and some cooking experience is advantageous

**Remuneration**

General Services Officer (from) $25.75 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Kareena Private Hospital is a dynamic acute care 142 bed facility. Kareena caters for a full range of specialties including cardiology, orthopaedics, general surgery, colorectal surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, general medicine, geriatric medicine, rehabilitation, gastroenterology, plastic surgery, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, ophthalmology, paediatrics, respiratory medicine and vascular surgery. Radiology and pathology services are also available on site.

**Requirements**:
