**Position Information**:
Karabar High School is a partially Selective High school on Ngambri and Ngunnawal lands in Queanbeyan, in the border region of NSW and the ACT. The school has a current enrolment of 1045 students in years 7-12, including 9% Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and 8% English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D).

The school provides an inclusive and supportive environment that allows each student to develop to their potential with an academically selective stream Years 7-10, a Performing Arts stream in Stage 4 and six special education classes (MC, IM and Tutorial).

**Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach Science (7-10) and willingness to teach Agriculture.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to build positive relationships with teachers, students, parents and the community.
- Capacity to implement effective classroom management strategies and to plan and implement differentiated teaching and learning programs to maximise student growth and promote high expectations for all students.
