Braidwood Central School, nestled on the southern tablelands of NSW, is located in a rural area rich in gold mining and agriculture history, with arts and hospitality influences. Just 86 km from Canberra and 62 km from the NSW South Coast, the school features a picturesque country setting, excellent facilities, and modern learning technologies.

The school serves 375 students, 4% of whom identify as Aboriginal, offering a K-12 education. There are 160 students in K-6 focusing on foundational learning and 200 students in 7-12 experiencing a diverse curriculum, including apprenticeships, traineeships, and support for diverse learning needs.

It employs a dedicated team of 34 teachers and 14 administration/support staff, committed to individual growth, supported by additional school-based funding. The staff focuses on high-impact teaching strategies and excellence in education.

The school also offers a variety of activities, including cultural, leadership, sporting, performing arts, and a strong agricultural program.

**Selection Criteria**:
1. Approval to teach Mathematics 7-12

2. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in the development of effective and engaging teaching and learning programs for a diverse range of learners.

3. Demonstrated ability to work in whole school teams

4. Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and community.
