**Job Description**:
**About the role**

The Operations Manager will be people oriented, a problem solver and keen to be hands on in the business. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone either with experience in a similar role or for someone looking to take the next step in their career. You will have the opportunity to lead and develop high performing teams which will execute the vision and roadmap to drive commercial outcomes.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**
- Weekly and daily labour roster
- Supervise daily activities to ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and legislation.
- Co-ordinate the loading / unloading of vehicles inbound and outbound
- Document training and arrange entry into database
- Ensure Induction of all employees
- Work with injury rehabilitation coordinators to develop and implement return to work plans ensuring injured worker speedy return to work.
- Identify, recommend and if approved, implement improvements in the daily operational procedures

- Transport related industry experience is a strong preference
- Approximate hours are 7am-4pm with flexibility as is managerial position
- Strong commercial acumen
- Strategic thinker with process improvement mindset
- Highly efficient time management skills and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent business communication skills to engage with stakeholders in the business
