**Education Consultant - HALT Accreditation**
2-year full time fixed term contract | Sydney CBD | Make an impact across Independent schools in NSW

AISNSW is seeking an experienced educator with deep expertise in teacher accreditation to join our team as Education Consultant - Highly Accomplished and Lead Accreditation Program.

This is a new position created to shape and strengthen teacher practice across the Independent sector and is a two-year fixed-term role reporting to the Manager - Teacher Accreditation.

**Who are we?**

AISNSW is the peak body supporting and representing independent schools in NSW and provides a range of services across NSW and ACT. We believe in the excellence that comes with choice, diversity and independence in education. AISNSW exists to serve and champion independent schools.

**What will you do?**
- Provide expert advice to schools, leaders and teachers on accreditation, with a focus on Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher (HALT).
- Design and deliver NESA-recognised programs and AISNSW professional learning and consultancies.
- Support schools to meet accreditation requirements with integrity, consistency and confidence.
- Assess evidence for teacher’s participating in NESA-recognised programs and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Build the capacity of schools to grow exceptional teachers and improve student outcomes.

**What skills and experience will you have?**
- Experienced educator with proven leadership in schools or education organisations.
- Strong knowledge of NESA accreditation (HALT expertise highly regarded).
- Skills in assessing teacher evidence and providing practical advice.
- Confident facilitator with the ability to design and deliver impactful professional learning.
- Collaborative, service-oriented and committed to strengthening Independent education.

**What we need**:

- Full-time availability, Sydney-based role.
- Capacity to travel to regional schools in NSW overnight.
- Person with current NESA accreditation (HALT accreditation highly regarded).
