Warehouse Storeperson

Based in Capalaba IRT is a group of Companies in the Building & Construction sector specialising in Roofing and Demolition

This is a diversified position that includes picking & packing, deliveries, some procurement and Equipment upkeep. This is a full-time position with variable weeks and duties depending on the shift. The workdays are from Monday to Friday and include 2 different shifts: 6am - 2pm for one week and 9am - 5pm the next, then repeat the cycle.

**Responsibilities of this role**:

- Manage & keep accurate paperwork of all inward and outward goods
- Pick up materials/consumables required for jobs
- Daily deliveries to site “ of materials, tools & equipment
- Perform stock checks and report on stock levels as required
- Ensure materials and equipment are ready for upcoming projects
- Unpacking & checking deliveries depending which shift you are on
- Keep warehouse clean and tidy
- Ensure all tools/gear are tested and tagged before delivery
- Develop a relationship with suppliers and assist in sourcing the best prices
- Pick and Pack orders, assist in booking logistic companies for deliveries
- Loading/unloading of trucks when required
- Operating forklift
- Operating computers to manage stock and inventory (assign to jobs) depending on your shift
- Assist with the vehicle and truck fleet when required
- Ability to drive manual van and tow trailers if required
- Ensure a safe workplace by complying with OH&S
- Heavy Lifting will be required therefore you need to be physically fit
- Day shift will prepare all deliveries for the next day
- Under guidance of the Warehouse Co-Ordinator
- Has a current forklift licence
- Has a clean manual driver licence
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role
- Sound computer skills is essential
- Excellent time management required
- Good work ethic - reliable and punctual

Week 1 - Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm

Week 2 - Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

*This cycle repeats subsequently

**Salary**: $43,115.64 - $67,993.96 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
