**About the role**:
This full-time (Monday-Friday), two-year traineeship gives you the chance to work in a hospital setting while completing a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, specialising in Nutrition and Dietetics.

**You'll spend**:

- 4 days a week working with patients and the dietetics team
- 1 day a week supported to complete your Certificate IV coursework

You'll be trained and supported by experienced dietitians and support staff every step of the way.

**What you'll be doing**:
You’ll gain valuable experience in a hospital setting, build your confidence, and make a real difference to people’s health. As part of your daily work, you might:

- Chat with patients about what they eat and drink
- Help them fill out menus and nutrition questionnaires
- Organise taste testing of special nutrition drinks
- Learn to use hospital computer systems and enter patient data
- Assist with admin and team support tasks

**Who we are looking for**:
We're looking for someone who is:

- Graduated from year 10 (minimum requirement)
- Leaving school at the end of 2025 or who has left school within the last 12 months
- Looking to start a career in health
- Motivated and excited to learn new skills
- A team player who wants to support their community
- Friendly, respectful, and comfortable talking with patients

No prior experience is needed — just a great attitude and a willingness to learn
