Are you a qualified greenkeeper or currently working and studying through your apprenticeship to become a turf tradesperson and looking for an exciting new change? We have an opportunity for you to further grow your skills within a highly experienced team, working in a fast-paced environment.

Royal Perth Golf Club is a prestigious institution with rich history and commitment to maintaining a world class golf course. We are well into stage 1 of our 3-year course redevelopment plan which is already seeing our course being restored to one of Australia’s leading golf courses.

**Overview**

As a valued team member, you will work in a dedicated crew committed to maintaining our high standard of course presentation. From daily maintenance tasks to major construction projects, contributing to ensuring that our members and guest receive a premium memorable experience.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Implement integrated pest management strategies to safeguard turf health and vitality.
- Assist in course renovations, irrigation system diagnostics and repairs.
- Monitor and report course conditions as well as making recommendations for continuous improvements.
- Maintain gardens and grounds
- Shift moveable rail as required and directed
- Pegging and marking out lines and logos, installing nets, posts and stumps, and placing other sports equipment on playing areas
- Installing and maintaining synthetic surfaces

**Requirements**:

- Uphold Environmental Health and Safety standards throughout all operations.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to excellence, attention to detail and a passion for sports turf management.
- Flexible to work weekends on a rotating roster.
- Valid Class C drivers’ licence
- Applicant must have working rights in Australia

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Certificate III in sports Turf Management or working towards obtaining your qualification.
- Proven experience working with sports turf and a stable work history in the sports turf management fields.

Pay: $73,500.00 - $78,000.00 per year
