Head Greenkeeper-bowls

Located on the banks of the majestic Tweed River; South Tweed Sports is a medium sized club with three championship greens. A rare opportunity has become available for Head Greenkeeper. We are seeking a trade qualified person to fill this fulltime (38hrs) position, for an immediate start.

In this fulltime role, you will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for the renovation and maintenance of the club's bowling greens, gardens and surrounds.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Supervision and training of subordinate staff, including tradespersons.
- Presenting verbal and written reports to management and Board.
- Application of chemicals, correct storage, and recording.
- Responsible for OH&S management outdoors.
- Machinery maintenance and repair.
- Induction of staff in safe operation of machinery.
- Maintain, renovate, and construct surfaces to different specifications.
- Obtaining quotes and overseeing sub-contractors.
- Supervise and participate in the operation and maintenance of pumps, irrigation equipment and drainage systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs for all greens.

The successful applicant will be a team player, enthusiastic, motivated and possess a current driver’s license.

**Salary**: $62,500.00 - $72,176.05 per year
