**About the role**

We are a beautiful preschool nestled in the grounds of St Brendan’s Catholic Primary School. We facilitate a unique program that supports children’s autonomy and sense of agency and we cater for children aged 3-5 years old.

We are guided by our philosophy that places the child at the centre of all decisions and actions and have a team of highly skilled and experienced educators that support and value each other. This is a Permanent Part Time Position.

**Duties**
- Opportunity to be part of a highly skilled and supportive team of mature and experienced educators
- Have a high level of literacy ability and be able to communicate and document learning to a high standard.
- Assist the Coordinator/Teacher and the team to plan, document, implement and evaluate the program
- Develop a positive and supportive relationship with children
- Help maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Establish and maintain good relationships with families

**Requirements**:

- Diploma Qualifications and relevant experience in Early Childhood Education
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Completion of Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk (CHCPRT001 or previous equivalent)
- Knowledge of the Education and Care National regulations and National Quality Framework
- Current and valid Working with Children Check clearance
- Available between 7:30-5:30 Wed - Fri
- Willingness to be Responsible person in charge.
