Signature Oceania is a luxury travel company specializing in tailor-made experiences across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. We work exclusively B2B, designing high-end itineraries for travel agencies catering to Spanish-speaking clientele.

**About the Role**

This role is ideal for someone who is strategic, entrepreneurial, and passionate about optimizing operations and building lasting partnerships.

Given the nature of our clientele, **proficiency in Spanish is required**, and fluency in **Catalan is highly valued**. The ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients and team members will be essential for success in this role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the travel agency, ensuring efficiency and service excellence.
- Develop and manage luxury travel packages tailored to the Spanish-speaking market.
- Define the range of products and services, manage inventory levels, and establish quality standards for the business.
- Implement business strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Leverage experience in scaling businesses to optimize operations and implement innovative solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with high-end suppliers, airlines, hotels, and DMCs.
- Negotiate contracts and secure exclusive rates with premium travel providers.
- Develop and execute purchasing and marketing strategies, ensuring competitive pricing.
- Create brand visibility by promoting and marketing the agency’s services within the luxury travel industry.
- Craft travel recommendations and sell travel packages that best suit clients' needs.
- Manage financial planning and budgeting to enhance business expansion and success.
- Keep up-to-date financial records, ensuring clear and smooth business operations.
- Manage staff selection, training, and supervision, while setting up processes as the company scales.
- Attend industry trade shows and business events across Oceania to strengthen relationships with suppliers.
- Travel to Spain and LATAM to attend trade fairs and visit key clients, maintaining strong B2B partnerships.
- Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

**Essential Requirements**
- Tertiary qualification in Tourism Management or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Travel Agency Manager, leading teams and overseeing agency operations.
- Strong experience in the luxury travel industry in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in growing and optimizing travel agency operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading teams within the travel industry.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; speaking Catalan will be highly valued.
- Extensive experience with Amadeus GDS and other travel industry platforms.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Deep knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand luxury travel market.
- Willingness to travel internationally for industry events and client meetings.
