**About the role**
Our Early Learning Centre is a purpose-built preschool on the grounds of St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School in Woy Woy NSW. At our Long Day Care provides a range of activities for children aged between 3 and 5 years of age so that each child can engage in something they are interested in.

We are looking for a **Child Care Educator** with a **Diploma in Child Care** that can understand the needs of a child and create a fun, warm, caring and safe environment.

**Location**: Woy Woy NSW
**Classification**: Part time
**Award level**: CSA 4 + Above award rate + Retention + Paid Lunch break + Sign on Bonus
**Days**: Monday and Tuesday
**Hours**: Flexibility to work Long Day Care hours from 7am to 6pm

**Ideally you will be able to**
- Have an understanding and experience with Early Years Learning Framework
- Assist the Director/ Teacher to plan, implement and evaluate programs
- Ensure a welcoming, safe, hygienic environment, reflective of best practices
- Helping with observations and experiences
- Develop positive and supportive relationships with children and families
- Form collaborative and positive relationship with colleagues

**Requirements**:

- Current and valid Working With Children Check clearance
- Completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education
- Current First aid and CPR certificate
- Completion of CHCPRT025 ‘Identify & report children & young people at risk’
