**About the role**
We are looking for a Child Care Educator who can or is wanting to step up into the position of Responsible Person when required. Our Woy Woy OSHC also caters for Vacation Care. We have several different programs offering a variety of activities to support a child’s interest and social development.

This role is permanent part time position working 9 hours per week Monday, Wednesday and Fridays 3:00pm to 6:00pm with the potential to work additional hours as required and during vacation time.

**You will bring with you**:

- Understanding and experience with My Time, Our Place Framework.
- Taking on the position of the responsible person when required.
- Assisting the Coordinator to plan, implement and evaluate programs.
- Ensuring a welcoming, safe, hygienic environment, reflective of best practices.
- Creating a fun and engaging environment through play experiences.
- Developing positive and supportive relationships with children and families.
- Ability to form collaborative and positive relationship with colleagues.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Experience working with school aged children.
- Current and valid Working With Children Check clearance.
- Completion of CHCPRT025 "Identify & report children and young people at risk" certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Completed or willing to complete Safe Food Handling training.
- First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one before starting.
