**SOMMELIER**

Renowned Italian dining landmark The Restaurant Pendolino in Sydney's historic Strand Arcade has a position available for a experienced Sommelier.

**About the role**:
In this role you will work closely with the Head Restaurant Sommelier to ensure the highest possible standard of wine and beverage services to our guests. You will have a background in premium wine and beverage service with relevant experience in quality restaurant operations.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Minimum five years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Italian and Australian wine
- Impeccable service standards and attention to detail A strong team player
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A team member who thrives in a fast-paced performance driven environment
- Experience with analysis of performance results and financial reports

**About us**:
The Restaurant Pendolino specializes in regionally inspired Italian cuisine featuring some of Australia's most prestigious extra virgin olive oils and traditional handmade pasta. We take great pride in our wine offering and feature a unique award winning wine program of boutique Italian and Australian wines.
