Textile & Product Designer - Baby & Pets

We are a leading Gifts, Toys, Blankets and Bedding company in Baby & Pets Market

The Textile Designer will be responsible for creating beautiful prints & products. This individual will support the têxtile design process and report to the Director. This individual will research the market and conduct creative search for new ideas and development processes. Must have an eye for modern, classic and elevated têxtiles.

**Responsibilities**:
Participate in pre-concept meetings with the design team to create well balanced, saleable lines
Design original prints and artwork; contribute ideas to design partner on colour and placement
Re-colour existing prints and artwork; make recommendations of purchased artwork
Produce production sheets for têxtiles as well as create colorways and repeats
Responsible for technical instructions for factories/vendors to produce fabric prints & products.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
