My client who is a Federal Government Agency based in Sydney is looking for a **Mid-Weight Designer** to join its Design Team where you will use your expertise in InDesign to interpret and implement the client’s vision across a broad range of projects.
Reporting to the Senior Designer, you will be a great team player collaborating across mutiple teams whilst executing all designs from conception through to final delivery.
Within the Design team you will focus on the Research stream, producing large format documents supporting marketing assets, and infographics, that often include data and statistics that require design visualisation in a way that is meaningful to readers whilst adhering to the client's style manual and brand guidelines.
Your experience will include:

- All-rounder with 5+ years strong experience in digital and print, with qualification in graphic design or similar, portfolio required
- Demonstrated experienced delivering an array of high quality digital and print assets such as large form documents/reports, flyers, posters, marketing collateral, infographics and educational resources
- Experience with data visualisation, ranging from simple graphs to infographics
- Experience working within established brand guidelines
- Strong ability to accurately estimate the time required to complete work
- Finished art/layout skills
- Highly proficient in the **Adobe Creative Cloud suite**, especially **InDesign**:

- The ability to set-up long documents with styles and templating
- Be knowledgeable in producing print ready files
- Experience working with printers and external stakeholders.

Ideally you will have:

- Experience with designing in Power BI as a data visualisation tool
- Understanding of accessibility principles
