Health Information Manager

**Summary of the role**:

- Mercy Health has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health Information Manager or Clinical Coder with a passion for coding, and a thorough knowledge of coding standards, to join our friendly dynamic team.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Casual
- Flexible location, Werribee or Heidelberg campus and work from home
- Ensure completion of monthly ICD-10-AM coding within set deadlines
- Ensure accurate coding in accordance with the Australian Coding Standards and Advice
- Diverse and challenging casemix across 20 specialities, including ICU and NICU
- Participate in coding audits to ensure coding quality and consistency

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Health Information Management Degree
- HIMAA recognised Clinical Coding Qualification
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Australian Coding Standards and National Funding Model principles
- At least 2 years coding experience
- High attention to detail and ability to meet agreed KPIs and deadlines
- Proven organisational and time management skills.
