**The Role**
Working with the executive leadership team, you will be required to provide procurement expertise to a range of clients and play a key role in the ongoing success and growth of the organisation.
The role is a mid-senior consultant primarily focused on the delivery of advisory projects across Victoria and Australia, with the potential to support projects across Asia Pacific. You will join a team of highly capable, like-minded professionals delivering value to our clients across diverse sectors.
Your aim is to create client value through meeting and exceeding client expectations and superior project delivery.
This role attracts excellent remuneration and is for a **permanent position** located in Melbourne, with the role potentially becoming ongoing.
**Responsibilities**
- Project delivery
- You will deliver superior advisory services to our clients across the full suite of Comprara products and services. This could include the conduct of procurement sourcing events; reviewing and enhancing procurement policy, processes and frameworks; identification of savings and opportunity analysis; and other procurement support services.
- Aids the development of efficient plans and strategies
- Discusses business shortcomings and deficiencies with clients
- Analyzes and evaluates systems, process, tools and templates
- Recommends more efficient methods/solutions to organizational problems
- Effectively solves business and organisational shortcomings
- Gives objective advice that is tailored to the customer
- Carries out comprehensive reviews and work studies
- Business development and client relationship management
- Support the leadership team with business development activities as required
- Use networks, sector knowledge and expertise to create and support business development opportunities
- Develop quotations and bid responses for opportunities
- Support internal Comprara development projects and practices including in business systems, IT, strategic planning, and marketing

**About You**
- You are a high performing procurement practitioner with proven experience who is passionate about the value that procurement can bring to organisations
- You have strong experience in the conduct of medium to high complexity end-to-end sourcing projects, including requirements definition, supply market analysis, specification writing, development of evaluation criteria, development of tender documentation and response templates, evaluation of responses, writing of recommendation reports, negotiation, and contract development and execution
- Ideally, you will have had procurement experience in different sectors such as state government, local government and/or the private sector
- You have achieved a tertiary qualification in a related discipline such as Business, Commerce, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics or Law
- A nationally recognised professional accreditation would be highly regarded (e.g., CIPS)
