**About the Role**

**Duties**
- Establishing a clinical coding service offering, including auditing and education.
- Responsible for leading engagement with stakeholders to co-ordinate the take-up, design and implementation of a high-quality clinical coding service offering that aligns with their strategic objectives.
- Represent our client in the marketplace conveying professionalism, quality, and excellence.
- Participating in industry functions and events to cultivate new opportunities.
- Develop a targeted strategic approach to generating new clients with a singular focus on direct client engagement to enter into negotiated contracts.
- Ensure all client performance targets and objectives are achieved.
- Ensure an innovative and sustainable service delivery and a client centred health focus.

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous coding experience is a must
- Degree in Health Information
- Membership with HIMAA
- Previous management experience
- Understanding of Australian Coding Standards and guidelines
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Capacity to work autonomously
- Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders
