We are seeking a Civil Maintenance Planner to join our Civil Maintenance Team within our Customer Delivery division.

**The Opportunity**
As the Civil Maintenance Planner you will responsible for the prioritisation and scheduling of civil works for asset maintenance, repairs and renewals, and release of this work to field employees from the Civil Maintenance team.
**What you'll do**:
Working closely with Civil Scheduler and Field Supervisors to understand priorities and balance resource constraints. The primary focus is ensuring that all assets are maintained in accordance with operational requirements, monitoring cost, and compliance to maintenance schedules, whilst providing operational support to Field Supervisors and their teams in order to maintain a productive workforce.
- Work as an integral part of the Field Services Model (FSM) Team, to help embed and improve the planning and scheduling capability at Hunter Water.
- Using IFS’s FSM (field services management) and PSO (planning and scheduling optimiser) software prepare weekly and monthly schedules to ensure SLA’s are achieved
- Work closely with Field Supervisors, Scheduler, Control Centre and the business to understand priorities and constraints
- Contribute to business efficiency improvements, assist in the review and improvement of operations and maintenance strategies, including implementation of work control and data collection systems to ensure the operability and long-term cost as well as the effective maintainability of assets
**What you'll need to be successful**:
**Essential Criteria**:
- Positive can-do attitude and a desire to proactively improve workforce management
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in scheduling and/or work planning, preferably in a multidiscipline environment
- Experience working with computerised maintenance management systems. Preferably for 4 years or more.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
- Class C Drivers licence
- Agree to act within the requirements of Hunter Water’s policies and applicable legislation
- Model Hunter Water’s organisational values
- Continuous improvement focus
**Desirable Criteria**:
- Experience in Water and Wastewater networks
- Working knowledge of IFS’s FSM and PSO
- Working knowledge of Ellipse or similar ERP / Asset Management System
