We are looking for a tech savvy IT resource to provide support on the floor to help establish & support desktop services. Defence experience background is preferred. You must already have an AGSVA NV2 Security Clearance or above for this role as you will be working in a highly classified defence environment **About the role**: - Promptly respond to and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed timelines, ensuring we meet our commitments to you. - If any delays occur, we will report them promptly as part of our breach reporting process. - Safely handle the relocation, deployment, and decommissioning of hardware while maintaining the integrity of your data in our configuration management database. - Take care of the maintenance and organization of your physical infrastructure, including desktop equipment, peripherals, telephony, print devices, and audio/visual conferencing equipment. - Keep you updated on the progress of your case and promptly notify you of any delays, effectively managing your expectations. - Log and maintain all customer interactions and activities in the appropriate IT service management tool. - Promptly escalate any operational issues to ensure they are addressed in a timely manner. - Maintain a positive "CAN DO" approach to work, tackling tasks with enthusiasm and determination. **Desirable**: - Minimum of 6 months experience providing support for End User Devices, including remote support. - Proficient knowledge of hardware/software and peripherals at Level 1 and Level 2, such as laptops, notebooks, workstations, desktop PCs, printers, media, audio-visual equipment, Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), and mobility including Operating Systems (Windows 7 through 10, Windows 11), Microsoft Office (2007 through 365), antivirus software, and systems support in small to medium-sized businesses.
