**About Luci**

Luci is one Melbourne’s best dining destination. Set in the heritage building Equity Chambers, Luci is a modern Australian restaurant with Italian influences that are inspired by the roman gothic architecture of the building.

**What will I be doing?**

As a wine waiter, you will work closely with our sommelier to recommend the perfect wine to suit our customer’s meals. Specifically your role will involve:

- Provide professional and current wine knowledge
- Recommend wines to accompany relevant dishes
- Describe and up-sell wines
- Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service
- Ensure accurate billing
- Support the floor team during service taking on various roles as required.

**What are we looking for?**
- Must have a current and valid Victorian ‘Responsible Service of Alcohol’ certificate
- Demonstrated experience within a bar, fine dining restaurant is preferred
- Working knowledge of alcoholic beverages and mixing of drinks
- Friendly, positive, energetic disposition with a charismatic personality
- A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
- Well-presented and calm demeanour
- Willingness and ability to work around a 7 day week roster which can include lunch or dinner service, weekends and public holidays

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.76 - $43.33 per hour
