**Endress+Hauser Australia**have an exciting opportunity has become available for a **Field Service Technician**to join our Victorian team. Endress+Hauser Australia is made up of 120 dedicated employees across the country, with our national office located in Artarmon, Sydney, and additional offices in other key locations.

**What is the role about?**

Are you an experienced technician in Field Service operations? Are you Trade or Degree qualified in Electrical and/or Instrumentation disciplines? Are you passionate about providing exceptional service to our customers? If so, this role is for you

The **Field Service Technician**is responsible for travelling to customer sites to assist with commissioning, maintenance, repair, diagnosis and upgrade/update of instrumentation devices. The main objective of this role is to minimise customer downtime and increase customer satisfaction of Endress+Hauser instrumentation and services in a safe, efficient, quality and cost effective manner.

**Which tasks will you perform?**
- Professional preparation for service visits
- Travel to customer site to assist with commissioning, maintenance, repair, diagnosis and upgrade/update of instrumentation
- Root cause analysis and 1st fix resolution for onsite fault diagnosis and repair
- Carrying out a Take 5 and/or JSEA prior to the commencement of any job
- Present a professional company and personal image to customers
- Develop and maintain a minimum level of knowledge of Endress+Hauser products
- Actively seek opportunities for the sale of company products and feedback to leads to the sales departmentProviding exceptional customer service at all times

**What do we expect from you?**
- Knowledge and a high level of competence in all aspects of industrial instrumentation, with an in-depth knowledge of Endress+Hauser instruments would be advantageous
- 5 years field service experience would be ideal
- Trade or degree qualification in Electrical and/or Instrumentation disciplines
- A good understanding of industrial plant and machinery and the processes monitored and controlled by process instrumentation is essential
- Experience in commissioning of industrial plants
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Previous experience using a CRM tool would be highly regarded
- Restricted Electrical license is a requirement for the roleDriver’s license and ability to travel, essential
