**The Opportunity**
- Permanent Part Time - Monday, Wednesday and Friday (22.8 hours per week)
- Location: Mornington Peninsula

The Bridge Incorporated is a progressive and innovative values-based organisation that provides a variety of support services to individuals with a disability as well as people from disadvantaged backgrounds from various locations in Victoria's south-east.

Our team is expanding We are excited to be opening our new Mornington site soon and are currently looking to welcome a new Employment Consultant to our team. The Employment Consultant will be responsible for managing the daily operations as the sole team member present at the Mornington Office, and will be supported remotely by the existing team at our Frankston location.

**The Role**

The Employment Consultant role involves providing high quality employment preparation, marketing, employment placement and post placement support to eligible participants and employers. Furthermore, it involves contributing to service goals, including employment targets, in order to meet contracted requirements and current business plans for the employment services division. Key attributes needed to success in this role include being proactive and well organized, as well as being empathetic.

**Key Selection Criteria**

**Essential**:

- Displays excellent interpersonal, communication, rapport building and negotiating skills
- Proven ability to manage time and workload requirements
- Ability to work unsupervised in challenging and diverse environments
- Ability to focus on and achieve outcomes/KPI's
- Proven computer literacy and data management skills

**Desirable**:

- Certificate IV in Employment Services qualifications
- Experience in Employment Services or a Customer Service role which involved marketing
- A knowledge of employment and training programs, employer networks and community services particularly in the South East and Peninsula regions of Melbourne
- Demonstrated ability to undertake research regarding employment matters, training providers and community supports
- Demonstrated responsiveness and adaptability in dealings with clients
