We're seeking an experienced **Workshop Supervisor** to lead our **Mining Equipment Division in Unanderra**. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong trade experience and proven supervisory skills to step into a key role overseeing people, safety, and performance in a dynamic workshop environment.

Our Mining Equipment Division specialises in the repair, overhaul, and manufacture of purpose-built machinery for underground mining, including QDS, Secondary Support, Longwall Move, and Material Handling Equipment. Working with both internal and external clients, we're proud to deliver solutions that keep the industry moving.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Leading and motivating a team of skilled tradespeople
- Reporting to the Branch Manager on workshop performance, budgets, and cost control
- Driving a strong safety culture by overseeing SWMS, pre-starts, and toolbox talks
- Overseeing fault diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance across a range of diesel-powered mining equipment (LHDs, Drift Runners, RTV fleet, etc.)
- Managing planned maintenance programs, refurbishments, and component replacement
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in workshop operations

**What You Bring**
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical, or Fabrication trade
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a workshop environment
- Strong knowledge of underground or surface mining equipment (highly regarded)
- Solid budgeting and cost management experience
- Experience with Microsoft suite (highly regarded)
- A proactive, accountable, and safety-first mindset
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team-focused approach
- Valid driver's licence (essential), with forklift licence and other tickets advantageous
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screening
