**The position**:
The Head of Construction Management role will be responsible for managing the Construction Services team located within the RES Support Service business.

The post holder will ensure RES successfully manages the mobilisation, execution and completion of the construction phase of renewable energy projects across Australia and potentially in Asia Pacific on behalf of our client project owners.

This role is integral to the success of the Support Services business in Australia and will ensure that the reputation the RES name has within the renewables industry is further enhanced with excellence in project delivery.

**Operational Context**:

- Will report to the Director of Support Services Asia Pacific.
- Engage directly with clients and contractors.
- Point of escalation to relevant stakeholders.
- The role has an existing team of 5 direct reports with a potential to expand.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for mobilising and managing all aspects of the delivery of Construction Management services from Notice to Proceed to Completion
- Leadership in company safety and sustainability objectives and ensuring project compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environment procedures and relevant H&S legislation.
- Ensuring the team meets all contractual obligations and processes within RES Australia’s Service Agreements regarding the management of EPC and grid connection contracts including HSQE, milestones, programming, payments, budget management, variations, completion testing and handover to generation.
- Inspiring and empowering the Construction Management team to work collaboratively and deliver a culture of excellent service to project owners.
- Management of senior client and contractor relationships.
- Accountable for delivering the business plan, budget management, employee development, performance management, and quality systems management.
- Management and quantification of HSE and construction risks and escalation where necessary.
- Lead in the identification and securing additional construction management services and the reduction of costs to support the growth of the RES business.
