**About the role**
We have an opportunity for a **Work, Health and Safety Officer **to be part of our Workforce Safety, People & Capability Command team. The Work, Health and Safety (WHS) Officer supports Human Resources service delivery by providing advice, assistance and support to commands/business units, WHS coordinators and workers on WHS issues, legislation and best practices.
This position has 35 hour working week with access to flexible start and finish times in accordance with the relevant award. The NSWPF promotes flexible work arrangements. The position will be based in Sydney city with access to public transport. You may be required to travel to police premises within the Sydney city area and on occasion to police premises in regional locations.

Outline your experiences in contemporary Work, Health and Safety risk management procedures including how you identified hazards, risks, implemented risk mitigation strategies and monitored those strategies. Provide a specific example.
