HSE Specialist work on design, construction & commissioning of a large scale manufacturing expansion project

**Your new role**

As the HSE Specialist to this expansion project you will report directly in to the Project Manager giving you the opportunity to responsibly lead the project whilst having a hands-on approach. Your duties will include:

- Write and review risk assessments for each stage of the construction project which will include civil, building work and production line commissioning.
- Subcontractor management across all aspects of health, safety and environment
- Inspect construction sites and buildings to ensure compliance to safety plans and promote prevention
- Review project incident data to identify trends and support contractors with corrective actions
- Coach direct staff, leaders and subcontractors to ensure the project upholds a strong safety culture

**What you'll need to succeed**

As the HSE Specialist working on this expansion project you will have previous experience working on a construction and commissioning project which will enable you to support all stakeholders, colleagues and contractors to create a safe work environment.
- Tertiary qualification in Health and Safety
- Prior health, safety and environmental experience working on construction projects
- Strong stakeholder management enabling you to challenge whilst collaborating with the project team to foster a high safety standard and engagement
- Ability to influence and communicate positively at all times with all levels across the project

**What you'll get in return**

- Annual salary $140,000 plus 11% superannuation
