Our client is a highly reputable Civil Contractor providing a unique range of ground engineering solutions including ground anchoring, slope stabilisation, foundation piling, shotcrete, and ground engineering. Looking for workers who have experience with ground stabilisation and earth work or previous experience in major infrastructure projects.

**The role**:

- Currently we are seeking an experienced **Heavy Diesel Mechanic** to help with maintenance of their equipment in their busy yard, located in Sumner, Queensland, and various locations - where required.
- Duties will include, not limited to:

- Complete service, repairs, maintenance of heavy diesel products in the yard and breakdown repairs.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to the Workshop Manager
- Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, quality documents via handwritten forms
- Component change outs

**What you need**:

- Mechanical trades qualified as a Heavy Mechanic (to Australian standards)
- Valid Manual Driver’s License and reliable transport - Truck license is desired.
- White Card
- Diagnostic experience
- Strong fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Extra skills, experience, tickets, and licenses will be advantageous.
- Previous experience in breakdown support
- Experience with servicing and maintaining heavy diesel products.
