About Samford State School
Samford State School was established in 1872 and boasts a rich history of connection and belonging with the close-knit community that is nestled within the beautiful Samford Valley. We offer contemporary education delivered on the traditional lands of the Yuggera and Turrbul peoples, with large open spaces and abundant native flora and fauna.The role of a Business Manager includes both strategic and operational responsibilities.
About the Role
**Your role will include**:
- Undertaking the day to day supervision of office and ancillary staff
- Supporting the Principal with the preparation and administration of the budget including day to day financial activities.
- Monitoring and provide advice to the Principal on facilities and ground maintenance.
- Monitoring and manage school resources aligned to short and long-term goals and budgets.
- Suitable applicants would demonstrate their ability to think strategically (long-term), be innovative and look to develop others in their team. They should have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
