Web Team Lead

You will be leading a team of Software Developers to deliver business requirements as per the tech roadmap in consultation with the CTO and the Engineering Manager, whilst successfully managing workload through the lifecycle of the projects.

This role will require someone with great multi-tasking and organisational skills to efficiently manage development across multiple projects. You'll have the opportunity to work across a wide range of projects, from feature enhancements to greenfield experiments, to be included into the mainstream offerings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and lead a team of backend software engineers working on our products.
- Coach, motivate and inspire your team to deliver on-time and with quality.
- Design and implement solutions to solve complex and challenging technical requirements.
- Provide technical guidance in software design and development, participate in design reviews, and recommend improvements for projects.
- Carry out technical assessments on requested features and identify scope of work/dependencies.
- Develop end to end ownership of projects starting from requirement gathering, design, delivery and deployment.
- Meet with key business stakeholders to understand business needs, gather information and analyse requirements
- Review code and mentoring team on best practices
- Run technical workshops to design solutions
- Work with team to plan and estimate delivery of roadmap tasks
- Work collaboratively with the other teams

**Skills, Knowledge & Expertise**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or its equivalent is preferred
- 10+ years of commercial development experience with an emphasis on delivering libraries and frameworks.
- Very good C#/.Net knowledge, node.js experience
- Very good understanding of MSSQL, Postgres, Firebase and IIS Server
- Knowledge of other frameworks like vue.js, jQuery, Node.js would be desirable
- Process minded and methodical approach to problem solving
- Ability to break stories into smaller deliverables
- Excellent interpersonal and soft skills
- Ability to coach & mentor the team

Successful applicants will posses:

- Experience in POS systems (advantageous, not required)
- Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work in a challenging and constantly changing environment
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
