The Biomedical Technician will deliver routine technical services under the general supervision of more senior practitioners (including installations, commissioning, repairs, and preventive maintenance).
**About Biomedical Technology Services**:
BTS provides a comprehensive health technology management, service and support capability to Hospital and Health Services and other parts of Queensland Health through the state-wide delivery of biomedical engineering, diagnostic medical physics, and radiology support services.
**Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme**:
Eligible health practitioners who move to Queensland from an interstate or international jurisdiction to take up permanent employment may receive up to $20,000 (pro rata) incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme.
**What we are looking for**:
- Knowledge and experience in electronic and/or mechanical technologies, general engineering and other technologies associated with health technology equipment.
- Willingness to provide guidance and support to students and less experienced practitioners.
- High level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders/clients under the direction of more senior practitioners.
