TEN Recruitment are working with one of WA’s largest home building companies who are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join their team on a SOR round to build double and single storey homes.
- Supervising the construction of single and double storey homes
- Ensuring construction takes place in the projected timeframe and all milestones are met
- Reporting on job progress
- Liaising with stakeholders in regard to the progress of the build
- Ensure construction meets current building codes and building standards
- Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
- Champion safety on site and be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and healthy site
- Resolve problems that arise onsite due to weather, materials delays, subcontractors or any other issues which may occur
- At least 2 years experience as a supervisor in the residential building industry
- Ideally you’ll have experience supervising both single and double storey home builds
- The ability to deliver high quality homes from start to finish
- A solid understanding of relevant legislation including the Building Code of Australia and current Workplace and Safety requirements
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- The ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and contracts
- A keen eye for detail
- A network of trades and suppliers
- A great work ethic and can-do attitude.
