Sure People Solutions is currently seeking Mechanical Fitters to work across Western Australia’s largest mine sites in the Pilbara and Goldfields regions as well as Local Perth and surrounding workshops.

As a Fitter you will undertake planned maintenance, shutdown, and project works on fixed plant mining equipment, including but not limited to, crushers, conveyors, chutes, screens, bins, feeders, reclaimers, and train loadouts.

**Key tasks and responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate a high regard for safety
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be able to produce high-quality workmanship
- Communicate effectively within the work environment.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, reflecting the values of Sure People Solutions and the client.
- Must be willing to drive from site to site (local jobs)

**To be considered you will hold the following**:

- Certificate III in Engineering
- Working at Heights (within 2 years)
- Confined Space (within 2 years)
- Construction White Card
- Australian Driver's License.
- Australian work rights
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and ongoing drug & alcohol screens
- Rio, FMG, Roy Hill, BHP, Newmont inductions, or inductions for Goldfields-based mine sites are, or Goldfields inductions are advantageous

**Desirable**:

- Current Senior First Aid
- National Police Clearance
- Previous FIFO Fixed Plant Maintenance experience
- Site Inductions: Rio, FMG, Roy Hill, BHP, Newmont inductions, or inductions for Goldfields-based mine sites are advantageous.
