Seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a State Government Health department

**Your new company**

A major Health department i Bentley is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to start as soon as possible. You will initially be engaged on a temporary basis through Hays, working full-time hours Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm. You will be paid on a competitive hourly rate plus super.

**Your new role**

As the Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for repairs, maintenance and installation services of mechanical plant, equipment and systems. Your additional duties will include:

- Investigate faults and minor new work tasks and report on recommended solutions
- Estimate material quantities and carry out new installations or modifications
- Support in directing other trades staff and apprentices as required
- Ensure that equipment and tools are securely locked away

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role you must display:

- A recognised qualification or certificate in Mechanical Fitting
- Demonstrated experience with mechanical systems, plants and services
- The ability to work autonomously
- Strong understanding on fault-finding and quality control
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment would be an advantage
