**About this client**

They are one of Australia's leading integrated Agri-food companies, employing approximately 350 people across the business in roles ranging from meat processing, logistics to export sales with a site metropolitan location, we provide premium small stock products to export markets.

**About the Role**

Based in the Western Suburbs, these on-going positions are responsible for various labouring tasks within the Abattoir plant. The ongoing hourly rate for this role starts at **$23.52 up to $32.00 plus all leave entitlements (Annual, sick leaves and super of your choice )**

**Your Role**
- Starts at 4:30am until 1pm early afternoon finish
- Processing meat, offal, and tripe
- Trimming fat and other material from carcasses
- Packing boned and sliced meat into cartons
- Cleaning and sanitising equipment and work areas
- Ensuring the work is always completed in a safe manner
- Ensuring that food safety, compliance and product quality is maintained

**Skills & Experience**
- Good level of physical fitness
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good levels of literacy and numeracy skills
- Working knowledge of safe work practices

**Requirements**:

- Triple Covid Vaccination required as we are an essential service
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test.
- Q fever Vaccination Required
- Own Transport preferred
