- To support our mission, we are currently seeking Cadet/Trainee Designers to join our multidisciplinary drafting teams in our Brisbane office. We are looking for someone with an interest in Electrical Design or Engineering.

**What does this role involve?**- With support, complete detailed 3D designs from rough sketches utilising the latest Autodesk Plant Design Suites- Work within budgets and schedules and maintain project files within a paperless digital design office- Work towards developing multidisciplinary skills and the completion of more complex designs- Contribute to periodic reporting and regular maintenance of drafting priorities and systems- Participate in the development and continuous improvement of the Quality Management systems- Develop an understanding of Sedgman standard specifications and current industry standards.

**What are we looking for in our future team member?**- Completed minimum 1 year (Full time equivalent) of Advanced Diploma / Associate Degree in Engineering for non-trade qualified applicants- Completed minimum 1 year (Full time equivalent) Certificate 4 in Engineering for engineering trade qualified applicants- Previous experience in design / consultancy / operational environment highly regarded- AutoCAD or Micro Station experience desirable- Skills in MS Office suite- Good mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail
