**About the Opportunity**
In this exciting career opportunity you will provide effective technical service and support to the Technical Department. You will develop and maintain effective working relationships with personnel within the Manufacturing Plant in order to provide the highest standard of service and technical assistance to all internal & external customers in a timely, willing and friendly manner.

Key responsibilities:

- Ensure that all quality tests as defined by the Quality System are carried out in an accurate and timely fashion
- Sample and test raw materials, work in progress and test finished goods against specification
- Test competitor products and internal trials
- Assist the Production Department in conducting plant trials
- Prepare and issue technical tests reports and follow up in a concise and timely manner
- Maintain measuring and test equipment in good working order and calibrate as specified in the Quality System procedure

**About You**
- Good understanding of ISO9001, 45001 and 14001
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
- Vigilant on routine and follow-up tasks
- Positive and enthusiastic with a genuine ‘can do’ mentality
- Understanding benchmarking and then implementing change to achieve best practice
- Strong written and verbal communication expertise and effective delegation ability
