**Wollongong Private Hospital** is seeking motivated and proactive team players to join their team as **Environmental Services Officers **and **Catering Officers.**

**Multiple Casual opportunities are available.**

**About the Role**

You will be responsible for providing and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout all areas of the hospital, ensuring these are in line with infection control guidelines. You will use a range of equipment and be responsible and accountable for your own designated cleaning responsibilities to ensure the team reaches the goals and objectives required on each allocated shift. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will work cooperatively and collaboratively with the team.

**About You**

**_ Environmental Services Officer _**

To succeed in this role, you will have previous cleaning experience in a hospital and theatre setting with a passion delivering a high standard of customer service, all in line with our Ramsay core values.

Maintaining effective communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders, along with your ability to work effectively in a team environment, you will contribute to achieving quality outcomes. This role will require you to take responsibility for delivering excellent customer service to all internal and external customers and staff.

**You will also bring;**
- Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Proven experience with hazard identification
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in health care industry (desirable)
- Experience in a previous housekeeping role (desirable)

**_Catering Officer_**

To succeed in this role, you will bring experience in a similar role within aged care, Hospitals, restaurant, café or retail catering or another clinical environment. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will leave or customers with a positive first impression. You will also demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team and independently when required, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.

**_ You will also bring:_**
- Prior experience in hospital, aged care, restaurant, café or retail catering
- Demonstrated problem solving ability
- Exceptional communication skills with a commitment to the provision of high-quality customer service
- A food safety certificate (desirable)

**The flexibility to handle a rotating roster is required for both roles.**

**Requirements**:
