**Pen Underwriting** is a dynamic customer-centric underwriting agency providing outstanding experiences to our brokers and we are currently looking for a dedicated Claims and Operations Administrator to join our team in Brisbane (CBD).

**The role** of Claims and Operations Administrator is primarily responsible for the following:
- Managing the general inbox ensuring all correspondence is actioned in a timely manner
- Credit control and reconciliation of claims collections and settlements.
- Administering all aspects of proportional and non-proportional treaty claims including reinsurance recoveries, preliminary loss advices and updates to clients and reinsurers.
- Administering all aspects of proportional and non-proportional facultative claims including reinsurance recoveries, preliminary loss advices and updates to clients and reinsurers.
- Responding to client queries quickly and efficiently.
- Managing client reporting requirements.
- Maintaining e-filing and management information systems in accordance with timeframes and Pen standards.
- Assisting with runoff and liquidated company administration.
- Enforcing / ensuring compliance, local procedures and external compliance regulations.

- Claims experience desirable (or willingness to learn)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in verbal and written forms
- Superior problem resolution and decision making skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Willingness to learn and develop
